  • Please keep Linda MaGee in your thoughts and prayers in the coming days as her mother passed away this week. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 29, at 10:00 a.m., with the funeral following at 11:00 a.m. at Riverwood Funeral Home in Brookhaven.

 

  • We extend our sympathy to Jimmie Braggs on the passing of his sister this week. Please keep Jimmie and his family in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

 

  • Please continue to keep Stephon Young and his parents, Samantha and Stanley, in your prayers as he continues to grow in the NICU. Pray that he gains strength and weight quickly, and for his parents as they wait for him to come home.

 

  • Please continue to keep John Pigg’s brother, Mickey Pigg, in your prayers as he is still in the hospital. Please pray for his healing and strength during this time.

 

  • Please keep Billy Conn in your prayers as he continues chemotherapy and will have a PET scan on February 12 to see how the treatment is working. Pray for healing and strength for Billy.

 

  • Please keep Lanell Kilpatrick in your prayers as she will have a pacemaker placed on January 30 at Baptist Hospital. Pray for a smooth procedure and a quick, easy recovery.

 

  • Please keep 3-year-old Garner Peacock in your prayers, along with his parents, Layken and Eric, as Garner was admitted to Batson for RSV and underwent emergency surgery for a bowel blockage. He is currently intubated, and because he has had three heart surgeries, his condition is especially delicate. Please pray for his healing and strength for his family.

 

  • Please keep Shawn Nygard and his wife, Larkin, in your prayers in the coming days. Shawn, the preacher at the Maben Church of Christ, is still recovering from a massive stroke along with other health issues, and Larkin was in a serious automobile accident this week, facing a long recovery. Please pray for healing, strength, and comfort for both of them.

 

  • Please keep Alyssa Hipps and Lindsay Hayes, our expectant mothers, in your prayers, asking God to bless them with health, peace, and safe deliveries.

 

  • Continue to pray for Ann Ellis, who received a cancer diagnosis last week. Pray for healing and strength for her in the days ahead.

 

  • Casey Thompson has asked for prayers for her cousin, Hank Lawrence, who is in the hospital in St. Louis with an autoimmune liver disease and receiving dialysis. He is 35 and has a wife and two young daughters. Please pray for his healing and strength.

 

  • Continue to pray for Margaret Rogers, the mother of Debbie Miller, as she has treatment for pancreatic cancer. 

 

  • Please continue to pray for Lilly Jordan, the 12 year old niece of Kameron and Anna Jordan, as she continues to battle cancer.
